The Duke Care app for the Colon & Rectal Surgery Clinic is an iOS app that helps with educating patients who are going to have an ostomy or general GI surgery. Patients are encouraged to view instructive videos related to a generic colon/rectal procedure and to record diary-type entries regarding quality of life in order to prompt discussions with their physician.
